CREATING - Tiny Treasure Holder |

Along with the house in the suburbs comes stuff. You don’t know where it came from or how it spread out so far and wide, but it’s there. In fact it’s everywhere.
In our house, all the stuff seems to be miniaturized. Whether it be a Polly Pocket Doll’s Shoe on the kitchen floor (man do those hurt when you step on them) or a tiny elephant with sparkles all over it from a trip to Thailand that the kids bought at a yard sale, we have lots of ‘little.’ Heck, we have a lot of stuff—or crap, let’s be honest here—in every nook and cranny and, the truth is, kids just love these little trinkets. So, as the good parents we are, we need to keep ‘em; though I do really want to toss ‘em.

1. Trim cardboard tubes to fit standing up in a shoebox.
2 Make short enough so that the lid can close.
3. Cut and glue colored paper to line the boxes interior.
4. Dip one end of each tube in white glue, then stick it, glue side down, into the box.
The really cool feature of this totally tubular storage unit? Well she can put the lid on it and it all goes away.
